Just setting off for Keld above Swaledale via Gt Shunner Fell. Via bus would be the more sensible option, the skies have turned murky and there's rain on the way.

Just heard about your walk from Wanda. I did it in 1981 before it was paved. We had some of the worst snow they have seen for many a year in April. This year I did Gt Shunner and Keld - Tan Hill in March in a real mix of atrocious, sun and then snow - great scenic section. Good luck. Ian Retson.
